AWS Strategic Partnerships, Amazon
Joey is an experienced leader at Amazon, where he leads strategic startup partnerships for Amazon’s cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS). Through his tenure at AWS he has worked with over 10,000 founders and has supported the launch of new Amazon devices such as Amazon Echo, Alexa, Amazon Fire TV and more. Prior to Amazon, he was an early operator for two technology startups, led new program development for UP Global, where he focused on entrepreneurship education in over 130 countries, and is an active technology angel investor (investments in new high-growth ventures, providing capital for start-up or expansion). He is a graduate of University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business.
