We know that charter schools are teaching the same kids as traditional public schools with less money per student–and no state support for basic facilities.

We can change that by once again urging our lawmakers to support HB 2508.

HB 2508 would ensure fair state funding for public charter schools to maintain and repair their buildings. Elected officials will decide this month if the bill becomes a law.

Between now and then, it’s essential that they hear our groundswell of support for public charter schools. When they don’t have to dip into their already-limited budgets for building needs, they can spend more money where it counts the most: their classrooms.

Email your lawmakers today and say: HB 2508!
